Dumb question I know but I boiled some eggs last week and forgot about them!! They got pushed way back in the fridge and I discovered them this morning! LOL I was going to throw them away but thought I would ask the experts what they thought!

I've had them for 2 weeks and they were fine. They might be a little dry and harder to peel though.

As long as they were kept in the fridge, they'll be fine! We made a lot of Easter eggs this year and I think we didn't finish with them til 2 weeks later! :bounce:

Egg salad it is!! Thanks!

This is what the Egg Board has to say:

Q: HOW LONG WILL EGGS KEEP?
A: Fresh shell eggs can be kept refrigerated in their carton for at least 4 - 5 weeks beyond the pack date. Quality losses should be insignificant if the eggs are refrigerated as soon as possible after purchase from a refrigerated case.

Hard cooked eggs should be kept in the refrigerator for up to one week.

After experiencing food poisoning from hard boiled eggs that I was unaware had gone bad, I would advise you to toss them to be on the safe side!! I was sick for many days and couldn't leave the washroom. A very horrible experience!!!

Hm...takes me about a minute to eat mine. And it's good the entire time. :-D

I say you're fine - your much more cautious than I. I love hard boiled eggs and was eating them for a couple of weeks after easter. 1 week is totally fine as noted by the egg official word above.
