How long are Christmas decorations up?

We will be at WDW from Dec 31-Jan 4. I have some dining resi's and such that I was hoping the decorations were going to be up the whole trip. Does anyone know when they take the Christmas decorations down after Christmas?

They will be up at least until Jan. 3.

They are always up for at least several days after New Years. In the past few years, substantially longer, due primarily to cold weather.

Understand they start taking them down, pretty soon after Christmas. It takes them weeks to get everything in place, and then they have to take them down and store them. So this is not a poof over night thing.

But some are generally up through the marathon.

Some of the gingerbread displays at the Deluxe resorts are removed at the beginning of January. In 2013, BWI's gingerbread display was removed prior to January 1st and the GF display was scheduled to be removed beginning on the 1st.
