How long are character meals?

And can you do a take out bag for your child? DS already takes an hour to eat when we are out and about because he likes to people watch. (he's 2.5) I'm thinking at the character meal, he'll eat nothing, and we'll need to feed him later.

I'm also trying to figure out if adding a character breakfast our departure day is a good idea. I'll probably do the reservation, regardless and see how things go.

Oh, and anyone know dinner times at Goofy's Kitchen and breakfast times at Surf's Up with Mickey?

We will have a 11:20 am flight from John Wayne, so optimally would leave DLR by 9 am.

I have never seen a doggie bag but that doesn't mean they do not exist. But what would stop people from filling their plates prior to leaving and then getting a doggie bag? They used to allow up to 1.5 hrs to eat.

Jack's right - 90 minutes is the allotted time limit for all the character meals.

The Goofy's dinner hours start at 5 p.m., if I am not mistaken. And I think they run until 9 p.m., though I am not 100% certain of that. Try not to get there too close to the last seating time so you don't risk missing out on characters and fresh batches of food.

I think Surf's Up starts at 7:00 a.m., as the other hotel character meals do. Depending on the day or time of year, the breakfast hours most likely stop at 11:30 a.m. or noon, so that PCH Grill can then function as a regular restaurant for lunch.
