How long after closing til i get my DVC membership #

Thought I'd share my time line ..
9/2/14 - Offer in / accepted / contracts received and returned
9/4/14 - Sent for ROFR
10/1/14 - ROFR Waived
10/15/14 - Closing documents received for signature / notarized / sent back
11/13/14 - File closed
11/14/14 - Deed recorded/filed with OC Comptroller
11/24/14 - Called in to DVC - member number, club ID and online activation code freely offered by agent with out having to ask
11/24/14 - first reservation booked

Has anyone closed recently? Our deed was recorded Monday the 9th and we want to book a trip for April, so time is of the essence. Has anyone had success calling Disney for membership info so you can book before the packet arrives?

Some people have reported being able to get number sooner by calling in but I was never able to and I finally received my member number in the mail 3 weeks after closing
