How Late

Silly question; how late can you enter back into the park? DCA shows closing at 10PM BUT it shows WOC at 10:15. We have the seating package for the first show of F! our first night of vacation. If we can make it over in time and if DS is not too tired by then; was considering trying to squeeze in WOC too. I know; that will not give us the suggested waiting time but I am okay with that. Just was'nt sure what time they lock down the gates?? :confused3

Until 10pm. When it states park closing times, it means the gates are exit only.

If F! is at 9 and fireworks at 9:30, you will be hard pressed to get through that mess on Main Street after the F! even if you don't stay for the fireworks. I'd stay by ROA and watch the fireworks and see WOC another night.

Don't really have another night to watch; we are only staying two nights this trip. Guess I will have to wait until we return in the Fall. :)

Why aren't you seeing WoC one night, and F! and fireworks the other? If you have two night and only one chance for firework and WoC that usually mean and offseason day and weekend day. So WoC will be nightly but F! and Fireworks only on the weekend.

I guess technically I could.....I used Ridemax to do our plans and with all the rides we want to go on/shows we want to see; it has us running pretty hard the second day. I think it will all come down to how much we get done the first day and how well my youngest holds out. He is a night owl so usually I would not be too concerned but this is the last leg of our trip so we will just have spent 4 days in San Diego at the attractions. He may be running out of steam. :) Actually I am use to going with my slow moving husband and an even slower moving 16 year old boy. They are staying home this time so we may be able to accomplish more than we think we can. :lmao:

Oh and we are going in the middle of crazy spring break so everything is playing nightly!

What may also help is SD attractions, Zoos, SW, LL all have short hours compared to DLR so hopefully that will allow more rest when there.

Since you have two days and long hours. I would do WoC early then the second F!. Go into DLR quickly, watch WoC from the back of Paradise Park and near an isle for a quick exit. Move quickly to DLR and hope you get into Adventureland and past Junlge Cruise before the first F! crowd is plugging it up as many of them exit.. Or get on the train to New Orlean Sq. Then take a spot for F! that has been vactated by that departing crowd.

With some luck this gets you to F! when the area is emptied out and before the Fireworks crowd is coming into it. Then see Fireworks the next night.

What this means is you will be waiting about 60 minutes for F!, and 75 for WoC to get good spots. Then for the fireworks the next night about 45 minutes.

Or you could do F! first show and wait 120 minutes for a good spot, or do the lightower trick at about 45 minutes, and watch the fireworks from there which will run a few minutes after F! end with an ok view. Do WoC on the other night.

Does RideMax have you seeing fireworks, Fantasmic!, and WoC on the same night?

We actually have reservations for the preferred seating of F! (first show) our first night there and are pretty excited about that part. We have been going to DL for years and never stopped long enough to see F! :) About time! So I think we would have to do WOC the second night if making it back over to DCA is out; which sounds like it is. Thanks for the tips thou; if I had'nt already paid and gotten everyone excited about the package; I might have to move plans around.

Ridemax does not put in the shows/parades/etc or at least not where I have ever been able to find. :confused3

My youngest son will not ride fast rides so in DCA there are only a handful of rides we will be going on this time. The plan was to visit DCA our first morning (for the rides) and see a bunch of the shows that we never have made it to that afternoon/evening (Aladdin, Hillbillies, F!, Fireworks). Also do a little shopping. Then day 2 was following Ridemax and just ride everything we wanted to DL. (AM I OVERPLANNING)

I made my own schedule for the shows day 1. I had no plans of doing WOC; just F! and fireworks. Then I saw a comment that someone was able to see it without much of a wait; so I thought why not give it a try. Which is why I was attempting to see all 3 at once. Sounds like that doesnt work thou since we are tied in to the first show of F!. It is okay thou.....we are going back in October with the whole family so there is time! :goodvibes
