How late to buy MVMCP tix?

Hi- We want to go to MVMCP on Tuesday Dec. 14th, to finish up our trip. I would like to wait to purchase the tickets once we are in WDW, using my Disney VISA dream points. How quickly do these tickets sell out? Should I use the points for something else and buy my party tickets now? Thanks!

They might sell out quickly depending on if it is a weekend and if that is the last night of the MMVMCP.

I would say the chance for Dec 14th selling out is not highly probable...but it is likely since it is the last week and the Dec 17th show is currently sold out..

We have gone either Sunday or Tuesday early in the month and I always buy them when we check-in. One time I even bought them the same day because of weather concerns (had to pay full price).
