How late is Boardwalk and DTD open?

we touchdown at almost 9pm at night in August. Planned it that way so we can get a full day for our 'first' day instead of travelling/wasting half of it.

We are getting a rental car (emerald aisle, just pick a car and go), probably carryon luggage (only 5 nights for DH and I) etc....so we should be able to get out of the airport and on the road quickly. wanted to do something that night if we aren't too tired- perhaps the boardwalk or DTD- how late are both open? I figured we won't even get over there til 10pm probably. How late are the restaurants on boardwalk open? I know Jellyrolls is probably open til 2am?

what about earle at DTD- do they close at 10?

Not sure what time the Earl closes, but there would be plenty to do at DTD. I would imagine you could find something to eat at DTD at that time. We really enjoy the Adventurers Club at PI if you're in the mood for something like that.

Jellyrolls would just be getting good and going around that time so that would be a good option too. And there would be food you could find on the BW although I'm not sure how late the restaurants are open. I know the ESPN club would be and possibly the Big River Brewery. The pizza window at Spoodles and the shack on the BW would still be open I believe.

Just kinda curious, why rent a car? Why not use Magic Express? Or is that not offered with such a late arrival?
