What does one do on an Alaskan cruise? Pardon my ignorance, but I always just pictured Alaska as a big block of ice.

Really? It's supposed to be one of the most beautiful states in the US. The only one I haven't been to as a matter of fact!

We are going to Anchoarge first, visit the zoo. Then to Seward, Going to the Sea Life Center and Kenai National Park, where we will do a wildlife cruise, hoping to see whales, otters, puffins and others.
Onward to Talkeetna, a quaint little town where Northern Exposure was filmed, then onto Denali National park for a couple of days. We will hike, hopefully se Mt. McKinley, mountain goats, bears and others.

Back to Anchoarge, some museums there we want to see. Then cruise time!
We will see a lumberjack show in Ketchikan and take a flightseeing tour of a glacier and majestic waterfalls. In Skagway, we will take a train to Emerald Lake, one of the Yukon's most beautiful and most photographed lakes, visit a Ididerod dog sled camp and visit the Yukon wildlife museum. In Juneau we will visit Mendenhall Glacier.
Sitka, we will explore the Russian heritage. I'm sure I'm leaving stuff out.
We arrive in Vancouver after the cruise, stay for a couple of nights, then hit Seattle for a few nights!!

let's see.... When I was in HS I worked for a cake shop and ended up making my own cakes to sell till college, while helping family restaurant.

in 91 I got layed off here in Pa and started my own catering biz.. it was a hit but I got tired of doing it by myself.. my limit was a party of 100. Menu consist of Chinese, Italian and some more asian dishes and a couple of mediterranean...

in 95 went to school to learn french pastry

in 97 did partial catering since friends had asked... I had done a couple of decent wedding cakes

also have an associates in accounting and trying to take more courses for management.

and from 91 to 2001 had helped dad manage/inventory/payroll for family owned dunkin donut... went to dunkin donut university to learn how to make the donuts...

now am just doing photography and jewelry making on outside my full time job

hmmm the one I get to bug regularly are... CPM , Poppin Paige , Myst , and Tinks Gang and jonestavern and KimRaye and mommytotwo ... but I guess they are a bit busy IRL right now...
