good evening ladies!!!! Myst and Chery;!! I was able to sneak out early tonite from work so I am home now !!! made some corn chowder soup and ready to dis! It is 40 degrees outside!!!!

ok.. in one of my regular thread... where DisneyMommyMichelle was the leader of the pack.... before anything else.. meet Michelle.. really adorable!! and very nice in RL along with her cute as a botton kids and hubby! To continue... Michelle was in the Dumspter Diving thread that was closed.. and I got to thinking people do crazy stuff sometimes.. I asked a few of the diser I know... which is the lesser evil... a) would you dive in the dumpster if 4 of your refillable mugs get thrown in w/o your knowledge or b) you saw a couple at your workplace.. nobody is looking and you just take it. Well the mugs were mine which doesnt really bother me if I lost it.. it just the fact that someone will be drinking on somebody elses mugs and you dont even know what I got in my system blech!!!! What you think ladies ???

I think she means Box Tops for Education? Just my guess. If she's the coordinator of this fundraiser, she has to cut/clip all the donations. People can be sloppy.

lol I'm the Box Tops coordinator for my son's school. Those are the 10 cents on ceral boxes and other products. We send them in for money. The deadline was the day I left and my son said I have boxes full of them at my house just waiting for me to cut and count. Then I have to get them postmarked by the 31st. If you don't already save them for anyone, I'll take any you may accumulate, The next deadline is in Feb.

Heya! Woo hoo!! A night off early. I notice you came here instead of going to bed!

It's pretty chilly here too. We had to move rooms because of the draft in our bedroom. The wall cracked and and I swear it opens directly to the outside.

mug question - Do I have to pick one or the other? I would dumpster dive before taking someone else's stuff. If I don't have to pick one then neither. can't take them back anyway right?!

Yum clam chowda!! 40 degrees is cold. I'll bet it's not much higher than that in Orlando tonight.
Not sure about the mug question. I don't think I would dig into a dumpster for much of anything. I would throw up before I fetched the item.

Kim!!! You should have seen how many bags I collected this month for tabs... they dont call me tab patrol for nothing... if you are wondering.. Kim was so nice to save me some tabs and she even mails it all the way from IL Alot of kids will be having a ball at the gift shop come Xmas !!!

Timmy means pop-tops from soda/juice/drink/beer cans. At least that's what I'VE been sending her. Not even sure what happens with them but, I believe it's something with Ronald McDonald House.

Kim, we do the Campbell's soup labels also. Ii'll have my son help me cut, he said he did some for me already. My hardest part is trying to see the expiration date on them. lol I'm getting old!!

I do it for both State RMH in DE and Pa... in DE they get cashed and used for the basic needs of the kids at the house. In the city of Philadelphia they get cashed in for dialysis patients who are in RMH and thats their allowance money to spend at the gift shop while going through dialysis for 2-4 hours... gives them something to do while waiting
