How late can I realistically book?

DS and GF are thinking of going to WDW in July or August (it has to be then). We have enough points for them to have a studio anywhere for 11 or 12 nights. Now the problem is they're dragging their heels about deciding whether to go or not - how late can I leave it and still be likely to get one?

For such a long vacation, they might have to swicth resorts.... We are looking to book less than 60 days out for that same time frame... but only a couple of days for us.

I'd give them an ultimatum. If they want you to provide the lodging, they will need to give you some dates. 60 days out it will definitely be too late. July could be tougher than late August. School is back in session for Southern schools in mid-August, so there might be more availability. But Eastern schools are out until early Sept.
