We have been to Whispering Canyon Café for dinner many times, and the kids loved it - Ketchup!, Horse race games, etc.

On our upcoming trip, we could not spare any night for dinner at Whispering Canyon Café, but instead, we are considering to have lunch there. How is the atmosphere for lunch? Do they offer the same kids activities?

We have eaten there only one time, and it was at lunch. We had a great waitress, Hickory, who made it so much fun! There were only a few other people there, probably since it was a late lunch (around 3:30). But she still put on a show for us. I don't remember any kids' activities at that time. The prices for lunch are good, and we got plenty to eat. We will be eating there for lunch again next month. Enjoy!!!

We did lunch once and it didn't seem to have quite the same "atmosphere" as dinner.

I would say we really preferred the lunch menu to the dinner menu.

But if you are looking for that loud, crazy atmosphere we did not experience that at lunch. There was some horseplay and interaction but no where near the amount that there was at dinner. But I think a lot of that just depends on the table. There were a few tables that had that going on. Our family was very much "if I just keep my eyes down maybe you will ignore me" so we didn't have that. I think if the waitstaff picked up on the fact that you were looking for this they would kick it up a notch without any problem.

Good luck and I hope you have a wonderful time.

we went for lunch and missed out on many of the festivities that take place at dinner time... The food is much cheaper at lunch, with a few more selections..but if you would like the atmosphere, dinner is the way to go
