I had planned on going to Blizzard Beach but it is closed on the day we were going to go and I don't feel like moving around my PS and schedule. So do you think my son would enjoy Typhoon Lagoon instead? I have never been to either water park. Thanks!

Typhoon Lagoon is so much fun for a little guy. They have a nice kids' water play area, but our 3 year old daughter really loved the wave pool. I'll never forget her standing in the shallows waving her arm and shouting,"We want waves!" with the rest of the crowd. It was a blast! The lazy river was great, too. She just floated in her arm floaties, letting the current carry her along (with me, of course). By all means, go and have a great time. You won't regret it. :p

Your 5 year old will probably LOVE Typhoon Lagoon! Both of Disney's water parks are sure hits with kids, so you can't go wrong with either one of them. TL has a terrific kids area and the wave pool is fantastic. I had a hard time getting my son (at any age) out of the wave pool.

There are fewer slides for little guys to do at TL, but you will still have a full day's entertainment. It's a shame about BB being closed, but it gives you something to look forward to next year. :)

He will love it-we took our 4 almost 5 y/o DS in Sept. it was his favorite day of the whole trip. He still talks about it. Don't worry about this at all-have fun!!!
