I have it booked but Im afraid it might be too far out of my norm! Im not a very adventurous eater. I like my meat and potatos! My favorite breakfast on property is crystal palace with 1900 park fare a close 2nd. Should I stick with what I love or go out of my comfort zone?? Tell me what you think of Tusker house!! Should I try ohana breakfast instead???(We are trying to see mickey and did not care for CM last year!) TIA!!

If you are worrying about TH breakfast, you do not need to worry. They have all the traditional breakfast items plus little more adveturous... So you will have your usual breakfast if you don't want to venture out there.
Our breakfast there last Sept was very good. We really liked walking into AK early morning before the crowd and food was yummy. The character interaction was good also.
In fact, we are doing that again this Sept trip. :thumbsup2

This was my husbands favorite place for breakfast and he normally just wants bacon, maybe a little breakfast sausage, hashbrown potatos and maybe a donut or danish. He doesn't eat anything else for breakfast.

This place is perfect for me to because he can get his fill on those items while I can have eggs and quiche and all the other breakfast items I enjoy.

I have not had breakfast at Tusker House but the lunch and dinner are great--they have just a little flavor of Africa not overpowering.

I have been to the Lilo and Stitch breakfast at Ohana--it was wonderful. Stitch was ---well a stitch. FYI there is now a fast pass to see Mickey in his new home at the Magic Kingdom.

We will be trying tusker house for the first time this year. I am looking forward to the more unusual items on offer. I am normally a picky eater but I like that fact that its a buffet so you can take a small bit to try and if you don't like it there is always the normal stuff.

We also have a booking for Crystal palace for breakfast as well can't beat having breakfast with pooh and friends.

I know some people like to do an 8am time for 9 am opening, how do you get there that early from say the Contemporary resort???

We just did Tusker for dinner on Easter. Food was good, But overall the selections were limited. Im also a meat and potato guy and settled for mostly ther prime rib and potatos. Other choices were fun to try, But just did not make me jump for joy. I personally like again the CP best for our buffet meal all week. The food was much better cooked at CP and the meats were not dried out. I will try Tusker again, I feel there meats were dry and over cooked may be due to LOW crowd over our trip(WE had a 6pm ADR and it was EMPTY there). Then Monday at MK at CP the food was excelent and meats were perfect. Probally due to CP being booked to max and fast food turn over.

We only did BK- not sure about other meals but as far as selection it is my favorite in Park Character BK. Juice is very good, lots of normal bk food, pastires, fruit plus some adventurous food that was good.

Try it, I am sure you can find normal stuff like Mickey waffles, bacon, eggs, cereal, fruit and if you want to try something new you can.

Hubby and I are the same, very picky non-adventurous eaters but in November we decided to try it (for dinner) and LOVED it. It had lots of "normal" food mixed in with the different stuff, but I tried a lot of different things and they were really great. I thought the selection was great, nice big buffet line. We loved it so much it was one of the first places we decided to go back to this year!

We love th for breakfast. We still talk about how good that was from our trip last May and plan on heading back for more in a few weeks. The juice is amazing they serve.

ok I feel better now! I have heard its really good but I started to get a little worried just cause its out of my norm! Thanks all!!!!

without a doubt the best breakfast buffet at WDW IMO. normal food american plus a few different choices. but do not change the ressie you will not be dissapointed

I tried Tusker House breakfast for the first time on my most recent trip and LOVED it. The food was great, there was something for everyone and the characters were truly fantastic. Goofy and Daisy were even able to get my 13 and 14 year old godchildren all giddy with Disney magic. It was great.

I think Tusker house has the best breakfast selection. They have a HUUUGE variety!! They have all the traditional offerings, and then some!!! You will not be disapointed. This is our very fave place to eat. The characters are a bonus. So funny, great interaction. Also, lets not forget about the DELISH iliko juice. SO YUMMY! You MUST try this place, its amazing. :thumbsup2

Oh wow I guess it really is good! Ok now Im excited!!! I had it booked for my trip at xmas and chickened out!!! I guess I should just try it! Might become my fave it seems!!!
