How is this for service?

As you all know, my son needed medication shipping into Orlando to the HRH.

Well, the shipment was delayed due to a mess up by someone, anyway the Star Service manager at the Hard Rock took it upon himself to ring hospitals in Florida and was trying to order us some similar liquid feed to what Daniel requires. I never asked for this and luckily the shipment arrived anyway after Bruce sorted it out for me.

To me this is service of the highest order. Something you wouldn't get in England, that's for sure.

Nice service!
A couple of years ago we were staying in a rather fancy hotel in Boston before a cruise and one of our friends was a bit ill. Room service came to her room with a bowl of chicken soup, she hadn't ordered it, but it was compliments of the hotel to make her feel better.
Again, haven't heard anything like this over here.
Although, we were at a wedding at a Four Seasons hotel here in the UK. One of the men in the bridal was given the wrong sized suit and desperately needed a belt. They asked the hotel if they sold any or if there were any shops nearby (this was pretty much in the country side). They didn't sell belts and no shops nearby. The hotel paged all their staff and asked if anyone was wearing a belt that they could do without for the day. Sure enough, one of the staff gave up his belt for the guest. Four Seasons is an American chain, isn't it?

At one point Bruce needed my passport and he sent all available security to the hotel, Portofino and Royal Pacific looking for me.
