you'll probably get varying results on this but my personal opinion is that YES it is an awesome hotel. My family used to stay there every year when i was younger. I made my first trip to WDW as an adult (with my bf) this year and we couldn't afford to stay there so we stayed at POR which was great but I made him go over to the Poly to watch the EWP and we walked around the grounds, he really liked it and said we're gonna shoot to spend a few nights there next time........yeah baby!!

Go to this website...it's awesome and gives you tons of valuable information!

I haven't been "in" the pool since they remodled it a few years back. We walked around it and it looks even better than it used to. It has a zero entry section and a great slide!

OK, I am almost convinced on the Poly from all I am reading.....my other choice is the CR. I am so torn because of the $$. The last time we stayed on monorail or even on property was 15 yrs ago for our honeymoon (GF- loved it)! I want this to be special it is also for our anniversary. I have 3 kids- 9 and 5 (boys) and 2 (girl). I know the boys will love the Volcano pool, however, how much swimming could I expect for this Feb. 14-19? Also, since I am new to this what is "AP"? Any suggestions. I am making reservations for the room tomorrow, we got tickets for xmas already. thanks

AP is annual pass.
