Miss out on the Stringray city snokel tour. DCL full for that excursion.

So, we booked Island tour and snorkeling with stingrays.

How is this excursion?

Want to go with DCL because it is easier traveling with disable DMOM, she has a walker and cant walk far.

The times are about the same, does the swim only spend more time with the stringrays?

Is the island/stringray tour rushed?

Do they still do a video swimming with the stringray?

What is offered on the boat, ie cash bar?

Taking the 11:45 tour, should we shop before tour? Are shops close to Grand Cayman pier? pirate:

it's been a while, but I think this is the one we went on. We did not feel rushed at all. The group was split into smaller vanloads, and you remained with your vanload for the island part of the tour and then for going onto small boatloads for the stingray portion. We had plenty of time at the turtle farm to see everything and even relax a bit with some rum cake, and hubby had plenty of time to buy souvenirs at Hell. We had lots of snorkeling time, too, and the captain of our boat got in the water and assisted with feeding, photos, etc. They don't sell videos, but bring a waterproof camera and you'll have lots of photo opportunities (they'll even hold a stingray on your head!).
The shops are within walking distance of the pier, so you can check them out beforehand. We got back MUCH later than the stated tour time, so I would shop first.

We went on this tour in February. We had a good time. I echo everything Barb said. The only additional point I can add is that if the excursion meets on the dock, give yourself plenty of extra time to tender to get there. We almost missed our tour because of waiting for people to get on the tender, waiting to dock, etc. I think it took a good 45 minutes to go from ship to dock. Our tour also ran way over, hence, we didn't have any time at the end to look around the shops.
