How is the food at 1900 Park Fare for dinner?

I might be interested in this character dinner except for the fact that I remember that a lot of people have gotten sick from 1900 Park Fare. That has me worried. :(

Has anyone eaten there since the new Cinderella dinner? How has the food been? I don't eat red meat, chicken or dairy... would there be enough for me to eat there? I've seen the menu and they have some vegetarian options on there. Also, how IS the food? Yummy, cold, clammy, digusting...?

Thanks! It would be a minimum of $70 for our family... so I want to make sure it is well worth that... otherwise, it is the POR foodcourt for us that night!

P.S. What I am trying to do is eat somewhere our first night then head into MK to see the fireworks... if the park isn't closed to capacity (it being July 3rd and all)... Our other option is Crystal Palace, but we have more Cinderella fans than Pooh fans... lol

Thanks for any ideas!

I'd like to know too! We have had dinner at the 1900 several times in the past, but not recently. We were thinking of giving it another go this trip. :):):)

I have been to the Cindy dinner at 1900. I know for a fact that the fish was great, they had salmon, and some other white fish, plus some rice and pots. You should have plenty to eat with all the salads and they even had cold strawberry soup when we were there that night, I know it sounds gross but it was yummy.

We usually eat there every time we are at DW,(3-4x a yr) and no one has ever gotton sick. My DS & DD both love the charcs too. They will even come outside while you are waiting to say hello.

I would consider it. we are always so glad that we decided to go back after we are done

We were just at the Cinderella dinner at 1900 Park Fare last Friday.
Atmosphere wise it was loud and hectic but our server was excellent which is unusual for a buffet. She checked on us many times and was quick to freshen our drinks and see if there was anything else we needed.

Food wise, IMHO, it was ok. I'll eat just about anything and the buffet had many choices but I thought that the taste of it all was kinda blah.
There was a yummy scrod with a some kind of spicy crust on it and the mussels in garlic sauce were good. They also had nice dessert selection. But that's all I can recall that wasn't meat, chicken or dairy...

Really, we were there for Cinderella! I would go again.:D

We were there for dinner on 3-6, food was okay! It was a lot of fun! I don't remember vegetarian options, but the chicken picatta was very good as was the key lime tart! We definately didn't get sick! Food was hot and everything looked clean! Server was just okay, had to ask for refills of tea! We probably would go back for characters anyway!
