We did the character breakfast last year, it was ok, not overly impressed, I did like seeing the mad hatter and Alice, but I wasn't thrilled with it, so I was looking at doing the dinner, so just wondering how good this dinner is?
Thanks
:)

We were not impressed w/ the food or the place. I'm glad to hear it's undergoing a rehab, it needed it. We aren't overly picky, but have to say it was the least favorite meal there. Guess the characters were okay, nothing outstanding that I remember. We liked Norway better for princess and food!

food was buffet and quite good. Prime rib, salmon, chicken marsala, shrimp/asparagus pasta. Great salad bar, greek, antipasto, olives, corn relishes, peel-eat shrimp. Character interaction was OK--good mice, fairy godmother in lobby, cindy and prince CH made brief visits.
WE took grandparents and everyone thought food was good. For us, being being off-site (we did not need park admission) was a big plus.
Personally, I prefer Boma's, but we were with a prime rib bunch and kiddos.

We were very disappointed with this restaurant. Very noisy - extremely packed in tables - hard to manuevuer too and from the buffet as well as dodge the characters. Food was the worst we had out of 10 dinners and service was also poor. Big thumbs down from our crew........we had a party of 13 that night.

We went two weeks ago and were not impressed either.

As another poster listed, yes, all that food was on the buffet but it was very mediocre at best.

The noise level in that place is INCREDIBLE. Granted, my kids are older now and I am no longer used to screaming children, but this was just too much.

It wasn't the worst place I've been too but I think you can do a bit better.

We liked it and thought it was a MUCH better value than CRT...which we compare the dinner to because, lets face it, that's the real reason you're there: To see Cindy. :)

The food was good, IMHO. We REALLY liked the chilled strawberry soup. We were also in the first seating, so everything was VERY fresh. It is loud, but no louder, I don't think, than Chef Mickeys. Character interaction was EXCELLENT. I wouldn't go here to get the best meal on property....but for a charcter buffet it was pretty good.

We had mixed feelings about it. Food was excellent. I loved the shrimp pasta. The mice came around often and stayed a while. Cinderella came once and she was very rushed. Didn't even stay at our table a minute. Server was no where to be found at times and very slow with refills. After finished eating, prince still hadn't been to our table. In fact, we kept watching him go to our area, but kept missing us. We told our server and he didn't do much. Eventually, after 20 min. (my DD and I really wanted to meet him), he got to us. Fairy godmother was in lobby and had no line. I'd try it once, but allow extra time since you don't know if this might happen to you.

We did breakfast there last year and dinner there this year. We prefered the breakfast but neither will be on the list for the next trip. It just doesn't impress us that much.
