How is the Beach Club character meal at breakfast?

honestly, we were disappointed... both times...

the wait time was very inaccurate and once after waiting far too long we walked out (and ended up at dtd having the best meal at wpe!)...

the food was below average... the toaster didn't work, the eggs were very wet, the rest of the meal was mediocre...

the characters were slow, but did not take that much time w/the guests... not sure if it's due to the size of the restaurant, the layout or what, but minimal interaction and longggggg waits for characters...

we were staying at the BC so we thought this would be good and convenient... unfortunately, it was neither...

The character interaction here was great! Everyone would come around and sit at the table. They played tic-tac-toe with crayons on the paper table cover and sat for pictures with everyone. It was very nice!

I also love the atmosphere. It's quieter than other buffets but still really nice. The atmosphere isn't as overwhelming as Chef Mickey's or CP with the napkin twirling and Pooh Parade. It's much more relaxed.

The food variety isn't as big as the other buffets (CMs or CP) but they have a huge pastry spread and yogurt bar. The hot food was good too. We really enjoyed this place.

We had breakfasts there on Aug. 3, 2007 & July 28, 2008. Both times were very good....very short waits to be seated, good food, good character interaction.

We were just there 2 weeks ago and we were pleasantly surprised.

We were seated right away, no wait! We thought the buffet food was fantastic and my DH usually dislikes buffets.

The character interaction was really great. They spent more than enough time with us and we saw all 3 characters twice in the hour we were there. Goofy was great - sitting down and joking around with my boys, tickling my DH under his armpits and hamming it up for the camera.

Even if we don't stay at BC again, I'd do this breakfast again.

We really like Chip and Dale, Chip even sat down with my DS and colored

we were there last christmas and minnie and goofy, chip and dale were all there is beach like attire, cute pix, great food, plenty of chara attention,and pix - we will go back

We usually dislike buffets, but DH and I both enjoyed breakfast here. We had great interaction with the characters and thought the breakfast was very good. We also had really good service.

We have been here numerous times and we have never had a problem while there. The character interaction seemed to be one of the better ones we have been to and the food was good.

Yes. It is Minnie, Goofy, and Donald.

Yes, only three characters now. It used to be Mickey, Minnie, and Chip and Dale. But very recently they dropped Chip and Dale and replaced them with Donald Duck. Very disappointed. I love Donald, too, but can see him at Chef Mickey, and had this ADR particularly for Chip and Dale, so cancelled Cape May, (though I would have liked to see M & M in their beach outfits)!

Mickey isn't at Cape May, unfortunately. It is Minnie and Goofy (and now Donald).

We LOVE Cape May at the BC . We do a breakfast and dinner every trip . The atmosphere as well as the food are both great . The breakfast buffet has everything imagineable and the character interaction is great . We have yet to have a bad meal there......our meals/service have always been fantastic.....that's what keeps us going back .
