How is the audio with Funnelvision?

Hi, cruisers! First-timer (and can't-waiter) here. I'm wondering how it works when they show movies on Funnelvision. How loud is the volume? I imagine the noise level on deck is high to begin with -- do the movie and the people compete to be louder? Or is the movie just kind of "on in the background," not really there to be watched from end to end? Thanks for your insights!

Generally I've found the volume level to be OK to too loud. It can vary.

During the daytime, with people (kids) in the pools, it is pretty loud in general there. In the evening/nighttime it wasn't as bad.

You can hear it when you are there, but the sound is pretty much in the pool area. Have a great cruise!

Yes I agree with the others its pretty loud. The best experience is on the pool deck at night they have chairs lined up a little breeze I watched Wreck it Ralph one night!

Yes....LOUD. It's very loud on the pool deck in general....loud volume for the movie, topped off with kids screaming and everyone trying to talk (err SHOUT) over the volume of the movie and kids screaming, coupled with nothing but hard surfaces for the sound to bounce off.

I am totally deaf one in ear and had no problems hearing when I paid attention to it but I had no problems holding a conversation with anyone I was talking to.

From what I recall, the noise didn't keep me from hearing my family while in conversation, but I think if I were looking for a relaxing atmosphere to rest my eyes - - it would be bothersome. The pool parties and nighttime parties are loud and I couldn't hear my family during those, though!

Agree i can be there and 'zone out' of it, only noticing it if there is a loud noise on the film and look around.
