How is Teppan Edo? I dont hear much about it but it seems like a fun family dinner idea.

We really enjoyed it. The food is very good. My children got a kick out of the hibachi chef. He let my little guy "help" since it was his birthday.

It's not a must so every trip... that would be Artist Point. We really like Teppan Edo, it has something that most everyone can enjoy.

It's pretty good. Do you go for hibachi at home? It is very similar to other hibachi places. If you have never (or very rarely) gone to this type of restaurant you will be pleased, but if you go often, to a local place, its ok but not outstanding.

For us, it's not a must do every trip, but it is a fun meal to do, especially with kids.

The food is pretty good and if you get a really entertaining chef at your table, it's a very fun meal. Seeing kids (and adults) while the onion volcano is erupting is about worth alone if you've never been to a hibachi dinner before!

Well it's generally a must do for us each trip. The kids enjoy it, and the adults enjoy the food too!

NOTE1: Hibachi tables seat eight (two each side, four front side). Sometimes they can
squeeze nine if several kids. Depending upon the chef it can be exciting and entertaining,
or it can be almost dull. Quality is below a Benihana, but above average for Japanese
cuisine. It should be noted that medium or large appetites will want to stop before or
after dinner for a snack, as portions are medium-sized and big eaters can leave hungry.
(Just to answer a common question, they only serve white rice, as fried rice is Chinese.)

NOTE2: We think the Benihana at the Hilton in the Downtown Disney Hotel District is better
than Teppan Edo for both food quality and "the show" the chef puts on.

We love Teppan Edo. It's one of our favorites. Lots of fun and great food. All my kids love it.

We went to Teppan Edo for the first time on our last trip and our kids requested to go there again next time. This request was second only to Chef Mickey's.

They loved it! We haven't been to a hibachi place since they were babies, so this was their first memorable experience with it and they just ate it up - both figuratively and literally. We would have taken leftovers with us but we were leaving the next day.

For our kids (ages 7 and 9 at the time) I think they also felt very grown up in contrast to the character meals. :thumbsup2

ps They do not take the Tables in Wonderland card if that is a consideration.

Another fan of Teppan Edo. We too go most trips. The hibachi tables seat 8, so if your party is smaller than that you will be seated with t=strangers. To us that adds to the fun,
Enjoy
