We have been several times the first two weeks of May and have always found it to be great with crowds and weather, except once when it poured for 10 days straight...ugh! My daughters are both college students so we are thinking next year to plan a trip for as soon as they come home. How are the last two weeks of May? Perhaps May 15-25th? We have been in the first couple weeks of June and its very hot and very crowded.

Getting hot, getting crowded. Avoid Memorial Day Weekend if possible.

Weather sucks right now. Like really, really sucks. It's humid, hot, and I think it's currently raining or going to rain. Any Floridian with any sense is indoors with the air conditioning running.

The night time, however, isn't too bad. If it's not raining, that is. But the daytime sucks.

Are you there now or do you live in Florida?

For this week, the highs are low 90s and the lows are low 70s. 30% chance of rain most days.

We have been to WDW during the second half of May three times ( in the past 5 years). The weather has been on our side all three times. Always sunny and warm. In 2012 when we arrived at MCO it was pouring rain that afternoon. But for the rest of that trip, we had nothing but sun. We just returned home yesterday from a 9 day stay. It was sunny and warm for the first 6-7 days. The humidity really picked up on Friday and Saturday. We love it tho, as long as there's no rain!

IMO the single biggest issue near the end of May is Memorial Day Weekend. The Parks start getting more crowded starting the Thursday before the Holiday and ramp up VERY quickly. It goes from relatively calm and quiet to chaos in a hurry the week before Memorial Day.

The weather is the weather. Once you get past April in Florida the heat moves in and you go to the summer storm cycle. You can't do anything about that other than move your trip to late fall or winter.

I was there May 18 (Sunday) to May 25 (yesterday). Not a drop of rain, although I heard it rained last night right after I left. Crowds were great the beginning of the week, got heavier each day. Temps good the beginning of the week, brutal heat at the end.
