We stayed at POFQ on our last trip and loved it. It's small enough that you don't feel like you're walking forever to get to the bus stops or restaurant. We stayed in building 3, which was a great location. Just far enough away from all the noise, but no more than a 2 to 3 min walk to the bus stop and the main area.
We had a bad time with the sharing of the buses. If you have kids and a stroller, you could experience a difficult time. Yes, POFQ is picked up and dropped off first, but that doesn't help the loading at the parks. Everyone gets on at the same time. Also, there is no sit down restaurant. You have to go over to POR.
We've stayed at a Value with 3 adults & 1 child, no problem. It all depends on how you travel, how organized you are and of course, how well everyone gets along. To us a room at WDW is a place to sleep & change clothes, we're there for whats outside of the room.
Thanks for answering my question. Since it will be 3 adults, I was considering staying off property at DoubleTree@Disney World. There is ALOT more room, because they're suites, and it's only 89/night the week I want to go in Sept. BUT, I wanted to be on the Disney Dinning Plan, and I didnt want to rent a car. So thanks again for letting me know that the 3 of us can survive in a "moderate" room.
