received our free meal voucher for there and are wondering how it is....................

I've never been to the one at Disney. However, I read on a thread somewhere here that they were treated poorly when the waiter thought they were on the dining plan. I'll try to find it, I think I posted a comment so it should be on my subscriptions.

From what I read here, the DTD one has gotten many bad reviews, but a few good ones too.

I find it really hard to judge if I'd enjoy somewhere or not from the MB. I'm one of those, who has to try it and see for myself.

Our last day will be spent more at DTD, so we may grab a bite here before we hit the road home, but not sure, since we should have 4 CS credits on that day to use. Maybe we'll do both, just bring the leftovers with us and eat it on the car ride home.

I've never eaten at the WDW Planet Hollywood but I have been to one in Vancouver(BC), Seattle, San Fransisco, & one closest to DL. I've really enjoyed going to each one of them

We ate here on our trip last fall and had a great time. The service was a bit slow, but the kids were entertained by all of the movie memorabilia and didn't mind one bit. DH thought it was some of the best food we had all week. (Of course he is a midwestern steak and potatoes kind of guy :) )

We were also on the dining plan (and it was even during the free dining promotion) and didn't sense a bad attitude from our server at all. (Our worst experience with the dining plan was CRT---big attitude!) Planet Hollywood is one of the restaurants DS(10) is requesting for our return trip and I readily agreed to book ADR's. (Dining plan again.)

I guess it just depends on each individual's taste. For instance----and I know we are in the distinct minority here---we did not care for O'hana at all and that restaurant seems to get rave reviews.

I usually will not alter ADRs due to poor reviews, but there do seem to be a LOT of bad reviews for PH.

We ate there last November. My DS 8 & 10 loved it, as much for the atmosphere as for the food. I could take it or leave it. The chairs/rugs etc were worn and drab and the food was not overly impressive- think Fridays or Applebees in WDW. On the plus side there was no wait the time we went. My boys want to return; I'll suggest trying out another DTD restaurant if we are eating there again.

We thought it was fine. Typical food that you'd get from a casual dining restaurant.
