How is Nine Dragons?

I recommend Tokyo. While I enjoyed Nine Dragons, it was nothing more than what you would eat at your local Chinese restaurant. If you like Chinese food, I recommend the QS as it tastes exactly the same, but costs a lot less.

We thought ND was amazing last Sept! I wasnt really looking fwd to it, it was a last min decision for my DS but we were very impressed! I had a chef special that included a dim sum appetizer and then THE BEST GENERAL TSOs Ive ever had! Most places here make it very sweet, but this was spicy with a hint of sweet. HUGE portion of it too..only thing was there was just a small spoon full of plain white rice to go with it but it turned out to be more than enough food, in fact i shared with my family. I dont see that on the current menu now tho..Maybe Im wrong tho..

In our experience 9D isn't anything special. You can most likely find better chinese food in your local home town - for a whole lot less.

I know I'm in the minority here on the boards, but I love 9 Dragons. It's never too crowded, and the atmosphere is very relaxed. And the Honey Sesame Chicken is one of my favorite meals in the World.

That being said, I've never been to Toyko Dining, so I can't make a comparison. But I do enjoy 9 Dragons.
