How is MMRR settling? Or is it? Recent Experiences?

Well... I confess I'm surprised by that.

I wonder if they're just presuming low crowds for the next 5 days (crazy storm coming through) and want to see what happens without using the VQ.

I’m not. Even with VQ the lines are crazy. We’ve done it 4 times and 3 out of those 4 times took 60-90 minutes. Two of those times the ride was not down at all or very short times. What’s the point of a VQ if your line is still over an hour?

And that queue can hold a LOT of people. There is even an outdoor portion in the back that they had to use the other day.

I wish they would enforce the return times, especially in the mornings, but with how often the ride is breaking down, I get why they aren't.

We’ve been stuck in that outdoor portion twice now. It. Takes. Forever. My kids make me crazy during that portion because there’s nothing to look at and you still have a ways to go.

It breaks down a lot.

We got a VQ at 1pm last weekend but it was group 205 and when we left at like 6pm, they weren't even at 150 yet, due to breakdowns. I don't think they called our group until 10:30pm.

The first time we rode our group was 29. We had to wait over an hour once we scanned in. We got in line at 10:15am and then the ride broke down with us on it. We walked out of the ride at 11:45. It took up a considerable amount of our morning. We got a return again later pass and that time we were in and out in 15 minutes using the LL line.
We’ve been lucky. 4 times, no breakdowns. Only one day was the ride struggling and I think that was the 2nd time we rode. It was the first Saturday it was open and it was not a good day.

The first Saturday it was open was when we were walked off on our first ride.

I can't believe we rode it using the virtual queue on the VQ's last day! We did have to wait for at least 30 minutes in line after returning during our VQ window.

I also tried to line up for it toward the end of EE time on Thursday, but the CM said it would not be running at park open and I didn't have time to wait for it to come back up that morning. Other EE folks stayed to wait it out, but I don't know when it ended up opening.
