HEY GUYS! well I am planning a June 10-15 trip and I was wondering (like everyone else) how bad is it really going to be? I know there is the heat but we plan on getting up early, taking advantage of morning EMH and then heading back to the hotel and going back in the evening. How does these dates in June compare to April (first week) or even the week of Christmas/New Years. Which is the time that I have always went. First summe trip...WOOHOO...now I know it won't be as bad as Christmas/NYE but really, how bad?

One year my DD and I went the 1st week of June- the only problem we had was at MGM during all that Star Wars Stuff- we left and went to another park. We never had any problems with lines, actually it was this trip that we rode Splash Mtn 4 times back to back - one time we didn't even have to get off - it was near closing time. It was great. However it's going to be Hot Hot during the day. We will be down ther 10th -13th staying SSR and we plan on hanging out at the pool between 11-4 and going to the late night closings. :thumbsup2

We go in June on a fairly regular basis (including June 13-22 this summer) and the crowds are not as bad as spring break. We've never been at Christmas so I can't compare there, but we've always found you can do everything you want to do, it just might take a little longer. And that's not a problem as the parks are open later.

There is also usually an afternoon shower, but typically they only last a short time and then it's not a problem again. It will be hot, but your plan to go early, return to the resort mid-day and back to the parks for the evening is a good plan.

we went last june and it wasnt that bad, we are planning on going again this june

Last June Rain, Rain, rain.

My DS and I were at WDW last June 15-23. The earlier in the month you go the less crowded it will be....I can testify to that!
We got a lot done by getting to all the parks before opening (EMH or regular). The really big crowds don't arrive until later in the morning. We were able to see Mickey's Philharmagic early one morning last year with about six other people. Tomorrwland in the MK gets busy right away but the rest of the MK is quiet for a couple of hours.
Use FP and avoid the evening EMH. We tried the evening EMH at the Studios and it was a mob scene. The wait times were worse than during the day.
Just remember to drink, drink, drink. It's easy to get dehydrated in the Florida sun and heat. We always go back to our resort after a few hours and hit another park later in the day.
June is not my favorite time to go to WDW.....but anytime at WDW is better than no time at all!!!!!!
