How is I-24 and I-75

How is I-24 from Nashville to Chattanooga and I-75 beyond to Florida. I am traveling Dec 5.

Need info on congestion, road conditions, construction. Don't need speed trap info as I don't go more than five over, if that.

We didn't really see any road construction on I-75(south of I-10). We did see a lot of traffic, though and on the way down a lot of State troopers!
We saw seven just between Lake City and Ocala. FL definitely doesn't have a financial shortage problem like Alabama!
And, the road conditions were fine for us the entire way.

Watch for the GA state patrol. You will run into traffic driving through Atlanta and the Atlanta bypass is worse. Try go through Atlanta non rush hour or it will take you for ever to get out the city. Vadolsta is a speed trap be careful.

Get gas in Georgia because it's cheaper.

The last two years I've driving that route--after taking I-65 to Nashville.

You will say aahhhhh, this is smooth sailing getting onto I-24 and getting out of crowded Nashville.

Other than that, as said above, Atlanta is crowded, but nothing really more than that.

Of course, there was never any construction on I-24 whenever I was driving.
