DOes the size make it look worse?? I am 14 and i love BTMRR. I am terrified of everest dues to its size. How is it? im am driving down tomorrow so i need quick answers
I was terrified of Space, Splash, BTMR, RNR, Everest, & TOT until we went with some friends last year and they made me go on everything . I'd say TOT is my least fav., but RNR is the most intense of them all. Everest is very smooth.
Space is wayyy jerkier than Everest. I say go on it once, it's only like a minute and some odd seconds of your life, and you never have to do it again. You'll probably love it like I do!
(I kept my eyes closed the whole time ).
my 4 year old went on everest and loved it... she is eager to go back and ride it again now as a 6 year old. She said it was a little jerky but I think that may have to do with her size. My husband said it was a little rough... He rode with her.
Watch it on youtube. When I took my youngest daughter for her first trip last year she watched every ride on there so she knew what she wanted to ride and what she definately did not want to try. I ride lots of roller coasters, but am really pretty frightened by them. The worst part for me on Everest was the anticipation of the Yeti!
If you are worried about the backwards part I would try and sit towards the back of the train. I have only ridden it twice and the one time I was really close to the front the backwards part felt much more intense to me than it did the other time I road it and sat further back. I agree it is a very smooth ride and I only looked forward when going up the big hill the first time.
Good luck! I hope you try it, it is not nearly as scary as it looks. At least not to my anyways.
