We are doing the CP on Dec 2 and have booked dinner at Germany. Can anyone tell me about the dinner, do you like the food and do they have entertainment? Any information will be greatly appreciated!! Thanks,

I meant to post this to the Resturant board. Tryed to deleat it but it wouldn't let me do that!! Maybe a moderator will help me out and shoot this over to the correct board. Hey, someone answer my questions too.....Please! As you can see...I need a keeper today!

it is now a buffet which turns me off.It was better when it was sit down

The food isn't great but it was ok. I liked the dark, beer hall atmosphere and the Christmas entertainment was nice - a group in traditional costume (leather shorts) singing and playing instruments including an alpenhorn. We all enjoyed the experience.

Biergarten is a favorite of ours. It's a buffet with a good selection of salads (I especially liked the barley salad last trip), hot foods like meatballs, wursts, ham, sauerkraut, red cabbage, schnitzel, sauerbraten, spaetzle, baked chicken, etc. There's not a huge selection of desserts, but the apple strudel with vanilla sauce is so good, you won't want anything else anyway.

One word of warning, the tables are large and seat about 8-10 people. They will seat other groups with you if your group doesn't fill the whole table. We've usually had good experiences with this and have met some pleasant, interesting people, but maybe we're just lucky.
