We loved AK at night before Pandora! Pandora is magical, both day and night, and we thought the nighttime Safari was great! We have always spent a lot of time in AK, and could've easily spent more this trip!

Heading to AK this Monday evening. Would appreciate update on crowds and wait times during 11-1 EMH. I couldn't get a FP for FOP but I did get one for the RJ.

Animal Kingdom is my favorite park at WDW, and I think it is even better at night. Definitely a different experience.

We'll be at AK for at least 3 full days and nights on our next trip, but we'll be there for 14 nights with 10 day park hoppers, so we may hop over there on other days, possibly if we get bored at Hollywood Studios which happens quite a bit, usually after we ride ToT and RnR each several times and Star Tours 1 or 2 times. Animal Kingdom was our favorite park even before Pandora, so we're really excited to be there now, but we love the rest of AK at night as well, which is why we're doing 3+ days and nights.

We were there on June 1st during the evening and the 2nd during the morning. We had a FP for Navi River Journey that evening and basically walked right on - the query wasn't very long (maybe took us 2 minutes from the time we got in line, if that long). The FP line for Flight of Passage was a bit longer because the query was much longer. Took us about 15 minutes to get into the room where they show the video before getting on the actual ride. FYI, stand by lines for NRJ at that time (8:45 pm) was about 90 minutes and FOP (9:00 am-ish) was around 150 minutes.

oh that's great! That definitely eases my anxiety about how we are going to get to ride both Avatar rides. We are going to AK on July 16 (long after the EMH promotion) so we will not have an much time to explore!
