How is alcohol handled on the DDP?

If we were to order wine/cocktails with our TS meal, would the meal be credited to the DDP, and a separate bill brought for the drinks? Just wondering.

After reading the FAQ at the top of this board, my interpretation is yes. 1 bill comes listing the credits you used. A separate bill comes with the non-covered items (like alcohol), and tax and tip are automatically added to it.

That is correct.

Yes. I got one bill for dinner, which I signed.....one bill for my drink, which I charged to my room.

Be sure to remember that if anyone at the table is using the DDP, then anything that's put on a different ticket will automatically have an 18% tip added to it. If someone not on the DDP is dining with others who are on the DDP, then that person will also have an 18% tip added to their bill automatically. We didn't realize this last year and double tipped quite a few times.
