How important are the rides to you?

Thanks for all of your encouragement and kind words here..

Now which one of you is going to give me your telephone number so I can call you from Pop Century bawling my head off 'cause I'm lonely and afraid to go to the parks alone? LOL :rotfl: :rotfl:

Seriously though - all of your suggestions are greatly appreciated.. I have a notebook that I've been jotting them all down in and it looks like I could end up with a pretty full schedule! :flower:

I'm fairly new here and don't know alot of everyone's background...just learning of your loss. I'm so very sorry. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I think it's wonderful that you will escape to such a happy place in the midst of your grieving. I'm sure it will help tremendously during these difficult days.

For my DS12, it's all about the rides. The last 2 times we were in WDW, it was ride after ride after ride. However, this year, I have feet problems, walking problems, back problems and shoulder/neck problems....I told him that it would be a slower trip because of that and he said that was fine...as long as I can get to Disney, mom. From reading these boards, I'm realizing that it is ok to slow down, enjoy Disney for all of Disney and not just be about rides. I am feeling guilty for not being able to do this trip the way we've been in the past but everyone is opening my eyes to all the wonder and magic, beyond rides. Have a great trip, C.Ann....{{{HUGS}}}

I like the rides, I think that they are really a fundamental part of the park's success. Not so much do I care about the rides as the detail, but thats what you ride the rides for. I love looking around Disney and some of the best scenery is on the rides.
