How/how much do DVC guides get paid?

I think the Guide's are salaried employees with a bonus program as a added performance incentive.

I've tried twice over the years to get on as a guide. In spite of the fact that I have a good track record as a salesperson, I didn't make it past the phone screen either time.

Even working in the kiosks, you'd get to meet people from all over the world. I'm sure they get to hear from alot of members, too. Money aside, the CM's get to be a major part of a family's happiness and memories. If Mary Mannix is around long enough, she'll get to see my daughter introduce her own kids to the magic of Disney. You can't get that in any other job!

Not a DVC real estate license per se, but the courses needed to pass the Florida real estate license. I think I remember seeing this while researching to see if the licenses were transferable from one state to another.

Lots of professional licenses are transferable from one state to another but real estate in Fl. is not one of them for this reason.

Just an FYI- You have to know about timeshare laws for any state Real Estate exam and a Real Estate License is only good in the state you have it in.You must take the test in each state.

you are right, but I was told Florida has some special laws or rules with regards to TS's not to mention the volume. There are 10 states that can reciprocate with just a test.
