Lets put it this way it's already summer in Florida! It's hot in the 90's with plenty of sun
I have been to Florida in July it's the same temps as it is now. Gone to WDW in August, 80's to 90's then too. If I can remember in Nov it's in the 70's. July and August it's more humid, not in Nov. With the humidity it feels hotter.
Imagine being in the eternal depths of you-know-where with hot steam blasting on you as you sit surrounded by 8 - 12 firepits, 6 - 10 sunlamps beating down on you from above - then you feel a breeze, but WTH? It's a breeze coming from the 15 portable heaters aimed at you.
Like said above 97 degrees today. This is alot hotter than I've ever seen, been here all my life. I'm wondering how bad it will be later in the summer when it is actually summer season (if there is such a thing here). WE need some rain badly though.
I've been monitoring temps since we're headed to WDW next weekend and have seen mostly 90's. On our first visit in June 1981, the weather was the same. I'm planning to be at the pool a lot!

We live in Hawaii. I've always considered it very hot here, but after our trip to Diney World last week, I will never complain again. I have never been so hot in my life as last week.95 degrees with 100% humidity is hard to take.Drink plenty of fluids!
As a current Tampa, FL resident who used to live in NY, I can tell you there isn't much difference between the hottest months up north and down here.
The difference is though, it just lasts much, much longer here. It's 95 degrees in June, just like it is in early October...so by the time October rolls around you're pretty tired of it! So that probably makes it feel even HOTTER than it actually is.
I am with you on this one! The problem with up here is today might be 60 and tomorrow will be 90 and humid. With no a/c it's not fun. At least down there everything has a/c, some day I will be there and have it too.
Sorry, this is not Mr. Brit, but his DF Jezebella...I can't be bothered to change the screen name! Anyways...it was HOT HOT HOT today. We walked in about 4pm and the first thing we saw were people walking out complaining about the heat. Not so bad for us...we're used to it...but apparently not everyone. That being said, there was a brush fire that closed down part of 192 today just west of Disney. You could see the smoke from the monorail! Bring your water misters!
Going to MGM tomorrow, and it's supposed to be mid-90's throughout the state tomorrow with some high humidity (hasn't been particularly humid up til now). It's officially summer!
I was at Disney in mid-May, and already some of the days were just too hot!!! I really had a hard time in the heat, especially trying to walk around World Showcase. I can't imagine going in the actual summer. When the sun is beating right down, it justs gets to me very quickly, and I have to go cool down somewhere. Sometimes I have to head back to my hotel and take a cold shower just to feel OK again. I guess a summer trip is unrealistic for someone like me!
