How HOT is it in September?

We can't decide when to go to WDW next.

First it was late Sept/1st wk of October.....
Then it was January...
Now, it's back to Sept 30-Oct 8th.....

HELP!!!!

I'm scared of the heat. So, if you've been there around these dates, please tell me what your visit was like.

HOT!!!!! 90-95 degrees hot and HUMID. Did I mention it was hot oh ya and humid in September.
Still loads of fun though. Fewer crowds and that when they train a lot of their new recruits.

End of September is better than the beginning for weather. It's starting to cool down a little.

It is usually pretty hot. We go in Sept every year. The heat is less obvious because you hardly wait in any line for anything, so if you are on rides constantly, you will be in AC. We would never go at a different time of year, we love September!!

Jan. is a great time of the year ... consider it strongly. If you hate heat, stay away from Sept..

We went in September last year and it was extremely hot and we arrived in between hurricanes so for whatever reason we thought it might be a bit cooler....but no way it was hot and humid.

I agree it's hot but the humidity is worse than the heat.

LOL...I just got done reading all these posts and I am sitting here thinking~ HOT?!? When!?!? LOL. We have only visited WDW in Sept (together) and never have I thought of it as H O T as in HE double hockey-sticks hot. I guess every person feels diferently!
Yup, just asked DH what he thought the weather was like in September and he said "Pleasant"!
Now I am wondering if our trip in April will feel that much cooler!?

I must add that the first time I EVER went to WDW, it was in August, and I remember feeling sufficated by the heat in the car when we took a mid-day break. We had to let the car air out for a few mins, because nobody could breathe inside. Never have had this happen in September.

Last year we went 9/26-10/3, and it was HOT! Not unbearably hot to us, but mid 90's most days.

We went at the end of September, and it was definitey hot and humid with the typical midday shower. However, the crowds werent' bad especially compared to my first trip which was during spring break, LOL.

I thought the weather was pretty nice when we went in Sept. 03. Though we did also hit love bug season and that was rather icky. It was funny though listening to the little girl ask her daddy what the two bugs were doing on the window as we were riding in a bus to the park. That was opening up a whole conversation he was not ready for.

The humidity was uncomfortable at times, but we get worse at home in TN sometimes too. Evenings were very nice. I actually liked the weather in Sept. better than in December. December weather was a little dreary for me. But then again, we were also there to visit family for Christmas so didn't really have a lot of choice as to dates.

How does the weather at the end of September compare to the weather at the end of June?

My wife and I went to WDW in June'03 for honeymoon and it was really hot. We plan on going again this year and I had planned on going at the end of September. But if Sept. is as hot and humid as June, then I may have to pick a different month to go.

We want to go when it is not too crowded and still warm enough spend time in the pool.
