That is just awful, poor guy! Sounds like a freak accident. You have to question why that tram was on manual operation, had an emergency stop & there were no reports of others being harmed

No other injuries because, I think, the tram contained only the passenger and the driver.

Very sad.
Is doesn't even seem possible that you could be ejected at a speed of just 5-10mph. But I guess it is.
