The anonymity of the internet allows people to be either brutally honest or on the other extreme extraordinarily dishonest. Out of curiosity, where do you think you fall?

Honest, I would say. I know some here would I am brutally at times (I guess that is so, LOL) and others would say I am at the other end of the spectrum, but I think most of them are gone now, LOL.

Dan, I would consider myself the same way. If I can't be honest I won't reply but when I do I usually hold back alittle as to not offend.

Brutally honest.

Its my best and worst asset, depending on who is doing the assessment. :)

I think I do have the ability to word things so as not to offend, and if I can't, I'll keep my mouth shut.

So perhaps that isn't brutal???

probably somewhere between honest and brutally honest.

I can vouch for Snoopy! She does not like traditional wedding receptions and freely verbalizes it...LOL!

I am so brutally honest it can hurt. If I don't want to hurt your feelings I just hold my tongue... but that is very rare. Wow that makes me sound like a jerk!!! I am really not a jerk just scarey honest.

Yikes, Pin Wizard! I don't recall saying that I don't like traditional wedding receptions -- and seeing how I sort of had one of my own, I don't know what I could have been thinking when I wrote that!

Sorry if I was too brutal! I was probably not articulating myself well - sometimes that happens w/me. Mind working faster than my fingers, or somthin'. :teeth:

I come closest to lying by not saying anything if the truth is too painful to hear.

Keep the Faith!
Tracy

LOL, Snoop! :teeth: See....I remember that! You thought it would be nicer for couples to be seated at tables rather than have a head table. :teeth: I have a VERY good memory! LOLOLOL!

I'm brutally honest. That is one thing DH hates/loves about me. My job loves it because if they want to hear the truth, they ask me. If they want to here half truths they ask someone else.

As for the person who picked "lies frequently", how do we know he or she is telling the truth? :teeth:

Oh, right, Pin Wizard, I did say that. And I stand by it. I'm all for making people feel comfortable, and the "head table" has the potential for making a person who wants to be w/their spouse uncomfortable. So yeah, I guess I was brutal about my feelings on head tables! :p Hopefully I was a nice sort of brutal. :teeth:

I think I'm an honest person but I do exaggerate a little when telling stories. Like telling DH a story about work and saying "The store was PACKED with people" when really it was busy but not quite packed. So to be honest, I chose I exaggerate a little but choosing that makes me honest so maybe I should have chosen honest. Now I'm confused

I try to be honest in life and on the internet. But the net is different than real life because we don't have to tell everything about ourselves. I tend to hate talking about bad things that happen to me or my loved ones for a while. Something terrible can happen in my life, with devistating consequences, and I will post about what color shoes I'm wearing or whether I'm alergic to anything or something inconsequential like that. After a few weeks I'm ready to talk about the situation and with my friends IRL I will talk about it but usually not with my friends on the DIS (ok, there is one DIS'er that tends to hear stuff as it happens but that's the exception) because so much time has passed that it seems silly to bring it up then.

The result is that the Keli you guys see isn't the full picture. If that makes me dishonest then that's what I am but I think it's more just the difference IRL and the net.

I've been know to exaggerate at times but usually I'm pretty honest. I at least try to be ;)

I voted.

But I lied.

But I'm telling you that I lied.

So I guess I am honest.

phew....
