How have the F&W crowds been so far?

I am heading down next week for F&W to celebrate my 35th :bday: and am curious if the lower crowds this summer have carried over to F&W this year? I will be there Thurs-Sun.

Thanks!:D

Thanks! I was there last year for opening weekend and while it was super crowded it wasn't unbearable. Just hoping next week is at least no worse but hoping for better!

We were there opening day(wed) and during the day it was only 3/4 people at most places, howerever as it got later in the afternoon the lines and crowds got bigger. I did not find any to be a long wait even then, but we left around 7(my son hit a turnstile and broke his toe-so we left once it got a bit too swollen and painful to keep going). There were still a lot of people coming in.

my DD15 is also there right now with her dad and says it's crazy, they decided to leave early and go to DHS, only tried a couple of booths

Epcot parking lot was nearly full to capacity around 11:30am today

Here are some crowd photos:

Wednesday was easy peasy crowd-wise. Friday was more crowded until after the last ETTB concert, when it seemed like at least 1/3 of the people left.

Went on opening day Wednesday and it was really calm, even at night.Today I came in at 1 pm and its already about twice as busy as I saw it on Wednesday.By tonight it will be pretty crazy busy.

We were there yesterday (Thursday, 9/16) at 11:30 through 3:00 pm and the lines at the kiosks were quite manageable.

Ouch poor kid.

I'd love to see lower crowds in October but with MK park hours being extended again don't think it's going to happen

Here right now. Just sat down for dinner at Rose and Crown. It was crazy crowded today. We walked the world between 3 and 8; lines were long.

I got into epcot about 4pm on saturday (today). I would call it crazy packed and all the other parks closing before it didn't help. Now I need to add more to this because it was a weird crowded. The very front and hte very back didn't seem as crowded and those booths took 1-2 minutes to get in line, pay and get your food there the spots on the sides you could be in line for 10-15 minutes before you pay and then you have to make your way around to get the food. The walkways always felt really packed but I've seen it worse and for the first weekend, I thought it was a little light on people visiting.

Sounds like the crowd profiles are following the usual pattern. Weekdays from 11 to 4ish are easily manageable. Week nights and weekends are much more crowded.

Thanks everyone for all the feedback!! Sounds like it is "business as usual" crowds! I can't wait to get there!!!!
