MONDAY(MEMORIAL DAY ) WE ARE UP EARLY AND HEADED TO AK...

WHAT IS THE BEST PLAN FOR EE..

GO DIRECTLY THROUGH ASIA AND THEN RIDE EE AND THEN GRAB A FP AND HEAD TO THE SAFARI???

ATLEAST WE WILL HAVE THE BIG 2 ATTRACTIONS OUT OF THE WAY WITH A FP FOR LATER..

NOT SURE HOW CRAZY MEMORIAL DAY ITSELF WILL BE, BUT I WANT TO BE PREPARED!!!

45 minute wait in stand-by last Saturday at 11:30am.

If you can get to the park early close to opening it shouldn't be a problem. You should be able to get your FP first then ride it 2x ('cuz you're goin' to love it) before heading over to the Safari!

We were there a week ago last Thursday and again just on Monday. The crowds in general were great but they will increase over the holiday weekend.

So do you suggest waiting on breakfast??? We are planning on cereal in the room before we leave to head to AK...

We don't plan a big breakfast that morning...

I know things will really pick up Memorial day weekend...That is ok...I am just happy to be going...

Fast Passes were shut down around noon last Saturday. We grabbed one for a return between 4:00 and 4:55 and then hopped in the stand-by line.

I think EE is ok on the stomache. It does take a rather unique (among coasters) backwards and up at an angle path, so it may be hard to compare to other coasters. I didn't hear any complaints on the way out.

We had a standby wait of 55 minutes at 11:00am on April 30, and a standby wait of 30 minutes on May 5 at 3:30pm. In both cases, our wait time was slightly less than the posted time. In general, getting to the parks early means that you will have a much quicker wait time for any attraction in any park. Plus, by going early, you can grab a fastpass and do E:E again later in the day should you so desire. That's what my brother and I did on April 30. Grabbed a fastpass, then went standby. We liked it so much that we stayed in AK just so we could go back for our later fastpass.

We were at the AK opening on 5/19. We walked straight through Asia and got a Fastpass with a 10:05 to 11:05 return time, walked right onto and rode EE once, walked over to Kilimanjaro Safaris standby line, rode the safari, and walked back to EE and walked right on again.
It's a great ride!!! We all ate a good-sized breakfast that morning and our tummies were just fine. Have fun!!

We were there on Thursday and Saturday. (18/5 & 20/5) Thursday we were one of the first on line, came off, got a FP, went on twice more, then went on Kali, then used the FP. The wait wasn't long, and the line is very interesting, like going thru a museum, so the time passes quickly. But on Saturday we were there in early afternoon, and the line was rerouted so you were outside a good portion, so it seemed longer. Then as we were just to about to leave the building to get on the ride the ride broke. Everyone got a FP for return (good for a month) which we used within an hour as the ride was reopened.

If you feel like waiting longer there is an additional line to wait for the front car. Sometimes there are not many waiting, and we felt it was worth the little extra wait.
