How have Extra Magic Hours been at MK lately?

Heading down at end of month (which I assume crowds may be a little lower than the peak of summer with kids in some areas back in school) and debating whether to do one night at Swan to get the extra magic hours for MK (and being able to have my 7am ILL day be Epcot/DHS to book those two rides).

How have they been lately in terms of ride lines. It's 11pm - 1am my day so only want to do it if lines will be really short. Probably will skip if we're still looking at still long waits at the mountains.

Any recent experiences?

The extended evening hours are great. Ignore the posted wait times as most will not be accurate and also do keep in mind that not all rides are available for EEH. We love EEH and we found our visit in April was busier (spring break time) than our most recent visit. The headliner ride lines can sometimes move slow since the CM will check MBs/phones/cards to ensure guests riding are staying deluxe but for the most part, it'a great way to ride popular attractions or re-ride anything that you love. I would not go out on a limb and expect super short lines but given most kids in FL are already back in school, it should be fewer folks than just a few weeks back. The last hour of EEH is by far the lowest crowds of the day so be sure you plan to stay the full time.

Thanks - and yeah - I always looked at the extra hours in all their various forms during the years only worth it if you were doing the whole thing since that first bit you're still dealing with people who were on regular lines before closing. Bigger issue is next morning is DHS which I want to do early entry so trying to figure out if my body will be happy doing both!!!

We did the 11pm - 1 am extra hours the last week in April. It was great! The crowd cleared out pretty quickly at 11. By the end of the time there weren’t many people left in the park. We got in line for 7 dwarfs at about 12:38 & walked right up to the loading area. We had time to do that ride & then walked onto Small World just before 1.

We‘ll be going again in early September. But those hours are 10pm - 12 am. I’m assuming with the earlier time more people will attend, so preparing for it to be little more crowded.

We did DHS the next day and slept in. We’ll woke up at 7 to book Genie+ but then back to sleep and arrived at DHS for lunch. I couldn’t get myself up let alone my family.

On Wednesday, Pirates was a walk on just after 10 PM. Proceeding to Haunted Mansion afterwards, the wait was about 10 to 15 minutes. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad was about a 25 minute wait. The posted wait time for SDMT was 65 minutes around 11:30 PM. Space Mountain and Peter Pan’s Flight had posted wait times from 30-45 minutes.
