Are the September crowds larger tah past years? I have noticed DTD seems to be more crowded.

just returned yesterday from a 2 week stay at WDW. We stayed at the WL it was brilliant as usual. To be honest all this talk of the FTP making things crowded seems to be blown out of proportion. We always travel to WDW on roughly the same dates and i didn't notice any increase in crowds this year compared to any other year. The longest we waited for anything was 30mins and that was M:S which is an incredible ride (im still amazed by it!) The SAT,SUN of labour day weekend was crowded. we even noticed this in the resort as the pool and lobby were crowded. But everyother day was average to low. We went to Epcot the tues after labour day and no joke here, world showcase was a ghost town at around 12pm and future world was also not crowded.

We enjoyed this trip very much. We had little rain, little crowds and everything was brilliant

enjoy your trip

The last two days, the longest lines in MK were for Space Mountain and Winnie the Pooh (20 minutes during part of the day). Most MK attractions have been walk-ons for most of Sept.

Just by reading the post from people just coming back from WDW and CM, Safari Steve's, observations, it looks like the FTP didn't increase the attendance that much, if any. I think what may have happened, is that over the last few years, WDW has offered discount packages during the value season(Fall Fantasy, etc.) and also room only discounts for the same period as the FTP is now being offered. Since room only rates were not offered for Sept., we read several "discussions" about leaving the AP people out of the mix. It appears that the FTP attracted the same number of people as past packages, but WDW upset room only people(AP holders).

This is just a guess, the WDW people may have figures showing the FTP was a huge success.

I was there Aug 31- Sept 7. Sunday of labor day weekend was pretty crowded at MGM and MK. But during the week, everything was a walk on. Even Mission Space was a walk on Thurs for the standby line. This past weekend was a little more crowded than during the week, but still not bad; for example, ToT had occasional waits of 10-15 mins on Sat when it had been a total walk on during the week. (this may also be because RnRC was closed for rehab starting Sat)

How were the parks last Sunday....Sept. 7th. Anyone there?

We will be there this Sunday Sept. 14th. Plan to do one day and park hop to hit the favorites.:Pinkbounc

We were there Sept. 5-9 and loved it. Most of the Fastpass rides didn't even have FP open b/c there was no wait. I think the only 2 we did get were for Test track and Peter Pan but the window was 30 minutes later. We just rode something else and did some shopping. We both thought Sunday was the busiest of all the days - we were at MK but the Saturday had started out very rainy and kept us away so maybe other people did the same. Most of the time we walked onto everything and even rode rides again and again without having to get off!!

We were there 8/28-9/8
I have never been at this time before...but we are going back at this time again... crowds were great!
most rides were walk on, or at most 5-10 min wait..... longest wait, was space mountain 30 minutes.

Mission space was walk on... as was test track...

Most crowded park was MK on wednesday, 9/3, but still very tolerable!
