How has the weather been?

We are leaving soon and this is the time that I get freaked out about the weather. There's nothing like spending this kind of money on vacation and it rain you out. We went the same time of year last year and of course it rained every day but not a wash out.

For those of you who just returned how has the weather been?

We were there July 18-22. Our first 3 days were cloudy and off and on showers with intermittent downpours. We just carried our ponchos and carried on. The weather didn't damper our spirits or our plans. However, PD ********* to you so that the weather is all that you hope it will be.

It has been the typical pattern of afternoon rains then the sun comes back out. This weekend the chance of showers is less but it has been a high percentage for afternoon showers lately.

There is also hurricane season so weather may be affected by that.

We just came back (July 24th - 31st). Typical afternoon showers. Carry your ponch and you should be fine. One day we had heavy downpours with alot of lightening. We made it to the exit and came back to the park later in the evening.

The weather channel said the last couple of days of our trip we were going to have rain all day long. That didn't happen. They were overcast and nice.

Enjoy, and don't let the afternoon showers get you down.

Mouseteacher, we were there the same time and the rain was great, the highs were only in the mid 80's.

Kelscross, don't worry about the rain. DS and I went to AK & MGM in the rain and it was the most enjoyable time we ever had. It rained for about 2 1/2 days pretty steady. In the afternoon we still went to the pool at the resort and had our pick of umberella tables, and no wait on the slide, it was great. The last 5 days we were there, it didn't rain at all, but here came the crowds. We wondered if everyone just sat in their rooms and waited for it to stop raining, boy did they miss out.
