How has the weather been?

We leave this Sunday and expect around 92 hot humid and rain mid to late afternoon. Is this been accurate lately? Has it been dry in the evenings and sunny in the AM? Wondering what to pack for the parks. Thanks.

It has been in the mid-90's this past week, with very high humidity. Most days had no rain but the last two days had thunderstorms around 4:30-ish. Monday's storm had residual rain until late evening and Tuesdays storm passed in a couple of hours.

The humidity has been incredible. Mist fans were our saving grace.

No rain over this past weekend, but that's atypical. T-Storms the past two days and expected the rest of this week. Today is 70-80% chance with the same for the remainder of the week. Monday's storm was bad...lasting 2.5 hours with an absolute downpour. Yesterday was more typical...an hour of rain and then it's gone. Today sounds like it could be more like Monday. Weatherman said 3-4 inches of rain possible in some areas. Pack those ponchos! It's not so bad, sometimes the heavier rain even drives some people out of the parks.

92 doesn't sound bad, but with humidity it can easily feel like 100 - 110. Plan on drinking lots of water and use that sunscreen!

We just got back and it was very hot. Rained some. Our saving grace was to plan a restaurant lunch in the middle of the day, so that we could get out of the heat, get cooled off, and everyone could get endless drink refills. It helped alot!
