How hard will it be to get ADRs and FPs for late April?

Trying to decide if we're going to go to DW the last week of April. I know it's last minute and a very busy time there. Just wondering, for those of you also going at that time, if its been difficult getting the ADRs and FPs you want- assuming you've booked/made changes very recently. TIA!

For ADRs you can make sims yourself for your dates, restaurant and times. MyDisneyExperience will tell you if there are tables available.

You don't need a reservation to get ADRs - just go look for what you want! I also find that there is a good selection the day before when everyone does their '24-HR cancel' - if you can't get anything now - just plan to check the day before!

It completely depends on which restaurants and attractions you're interested in. Some things are going to be very difficult to get at this point, and others will still have plenty of availability. You can check ADR availability on the WDW site since the end of April is only ~40 days away, even if you don't yet have tickets or a room reservation. You can also check out this link to see what FP+ availability looks like for the next ~75 days for select attractions: http://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=835236

1. I'd expect a lot to change once rivers of light is officially able to be added to peoples plans.

2. At the moment FPs are only available to book for people staying onsite so if you were to book in the next couple of days/week or so, you'd still have a jump on anyone staying off site (assuming by "late April you mean after the 20th).

3. As always ADRs are going to depend on the restaurant. I was unable to change a BOG reservation several days ago, but had wide open times when I tried to change Chefs de France. Because many spring breaks are earlier this year to coincide with Easter I'm expecting (hoping) for lighter than spring break crowds.

They have got to be announcing the new hours pretty soon, as well as releasing FP+ slots for Rivers of Light and KS nighttime.

I'm going the 23rd to the 27th FP+ has been fine. The ADRs are kind of hit and miss. I did book the restaurants I wanted but I had to keep checking back for a couple of them to open up.

We're going mid-april. Most of the popular restaurants are already booked solid, but if you keep checking every day you might score something. I just scored an 11:05 BOG reservation this past Saturday. Our fastpass window doesn't open until this Sunday, so I can't comment on that. According to WDW prep school though, you should be good as it is a light traffic day. Just try to follow their advice on what day to go to each of the parks.

Why do you think end of April is going to be very busy? It's well past Easter and spring break, and well before summer. I just checked easyWDW, and Josh has late April at 4s through 6s.

A lot of people (including Josh I guess) don't realize that here in New York, and other Areas in the northeast, we have the week off for Passover. Normally, this doesn't happen because the holidays fall closer together.

Yes, we are on Long Island and almost all of the schools have that week off. Should be a great time to go to Disney!
