How hard to get Aug UY at SSR?

We are going to buy another 100 points at ssr. We got spoiled by the one bedroom for 2 weeks. They are currently selling October UY. My guide was at home when she called and wasn't sure if they had any Aug left. If I have to go on a wait list will they honor the promotion? Do you think there is any points left in Aug?

Did you try resale? You should be able to get Aug UY through resale. I used GMAC, and everything is going well.

We just added on 100 at ssr and we have an aug use year. I was under the impression, you got whatever use year you currently have. I still haven't figured out the pro/con of certain use year months!

I haven't figured out the pros/cons of UY either! I think it's about managing your points, carryover or use them within your UY. Maybe if your UY was in the beginning of the year, January, it may be easier to manage, because of the calendar year.

If you're doing an add-on through Disney, I believe it will automatically match the use year on your existing contract. The only way to get a different use year is to purchase a resale, which gives you a new member number.
