They open at 11:00, right? I'd like to leave Epcot, walk over through the International Gateway to be there when they open for lunch. Eat a quick lunch and boat or walk to the Dolphin to get to Fantasia Gardens mini-golf. Play a round of golf and get to Animal Kingdom by 2:00. Sound do-able? The big wildcard is if we'll have to wait for a table at Beaches and Cream. Is there usually a long wait?

I know that when we ate there last fall there wasn't any wait. We just walked right in and was seated right away. It was around 6:00 p.m. in the evening.

Beaches and Cream is a TINY restaurant, I think there are maybe 4 or 5 booths, about 4 tables and then a counter that seats about 15 people. B and C does not accept ADR's (unfortately) and every time we've been there--4-5 times, the restaurant was mobbed with waits around an hour. The food is really good, especially the burgers and milkshakes, but if you are using it as a lunch break, you may have a long wait. They do have a take-out counter and a few tables outside. The take-out window can have long waits too and the waiting area is very small.

Beaches and Cream is a favorite of mine and I highly recommend eating there, but be prepared for possible long waits. ESPN Club is a nice lunch break from Epcot, the food is good and it's just as close as B&C, if not closer. Unless there is a sporting event, it's usually not crowded for lunch. Hope all of this helps!

I think it depends on what time of year you are planning your trip....when we were there last January, we had no wait at dinner time (5-6ish), but when we were there in June the wait was much longer....I think if you're traveling during a busy time you are smart to arrive when they open....hope you like B & C, we love it!!!!

we have waited everytime at lunch time.

We'll be there in a couple weeks and this plan is for Feb 15 so any of you who will also be at WDW that day, stay away from Beaches and Cream at 11:00 so I can get a table! :rotfl:

But seriously, it shouldn't be too busy then (the cheerleaders and dancers have cleared out right? Or else it's between the cheerleaders and the dancers?) so hopefully we'll be able to stick to our schedule. Worst case senario we'll either eat somewhere else (maybe ESPN like someone recommended here) or move golf to another day. I'm trying to RELAX and not be commando about it all. :snail:

Your plan sounds good to me.

We were there the week after Christmas. We walked from Epcot and got to B & C at 10:30. We relaxed at the little tables outside and were first in line so we were seated right away. I don't see a problem the middle of Feb. Enjoy.

We stopped in just for ice cream during our recent trip. We were there at an off time in an off month, Jan 11th at 2:30pm but there was no wait at all. It was funny, we saw three kitchen sink sundaes come out while there. Funny to finally see the legend in person. I had a hot fudge sundae with coffee ice cream, very yummy, we will def be back. Good Luck.
