how hard for xmas week at home SSR

How hard do you think it will be to get a studio at your home base(SSR) for Dec 26-dec30, 2005. I guess I have to call in Jan (11 months out). Second ? is.....if I have to change ressies to Aug of same year and can get 4 night in a studio anywhere, do I lose the point difference? Thanks in advance

Holiday periods are always busy, but it never hurts to call at 11 months out if you know when you want to stay. Just mark it on the calendar and get it over with.

Practically speaking, there will be nearly 300 studios at SSR by next December and you just need one. How good do you think your odds will be?

You can cancel a reservation anytime up to 31 days prior to check-in and 100% of the points are returned to you. Those points can then be used to book another trip. Just be aware of your Use Year's banking deadlines and the potential impact on your points. August would most likely be a cheaper season than the dates you're looking at in December, so you will probably have some points left over. Those points can be banked (subject to your banking deadlines) or used for another trip before the end of the Use Year.
