How hard do they look? Can I take my 3 year old to the Pop culture?

I have 3 boys that will be going with us. They all sleep together and wont have it any other way. They said I cant do a value hotel b/c i have 3 kids, can i tell them i'm bringing 2? Upgrading hotels is going to way out of our budget. Will they pay that much attention?

Do they really pay attention? personally, I don't think so. I think almost everytime I have checked my family in I have done it solo (everyone else was outside). There is no way that the front desk clerk would know that I didn't have 4 other people with me.

Question is .... do you really want to take the chance and get caught? They would probably make you pay for another room. Then you run into what happens if the closest room they have to yours is in a totally seperate building or if the hotel is booked solid you may have to leave the property and get another hotel. Now, I have no idea if any of these scenarios would ever happen, but as I said before......do you really want to take the chance?

If you all are driving down or renting a car why not check out one of the off-site hotels that have suites? You may get a great rate for the 5 of you to stay in one room.

Just think about it real hard. Getting caught might just ruin your magical vacation.

Steph - I pretty much agree with maciec. There are a lot of questions here on the boards that basically boil down to "I know this is the rule but do I have to follow it?" I hate to be a spoilsport but the rules are made for a reason whether it be safety concerns (fire code, etc.) or some other reason. Personally, I choose to abide by the rules to avoid problems, as maciec suggested.

I also agree that you could do better offsite and have a much more comfortable spacious suite for the same or less than you would pay for Pop Century.

If you are determined to stay on property, Port Orleans Riverside can accomodate 5 in one room. We stayed there in December and with the AP rate was almost the same as rack rate for the All Stars or Pop...

Good luck!

I got a KidsSuite at HIFS for $76 with the entertainment card. I also don't know what would happen if they caught you but like the other posters said, do you really want to find out on vacation? The HIFS is supposed to be very close, like right outside the maingate and it offers a free FULL breakfast (not a continental breakfast but eggs, french toast, etc.) and kids eat free (during certain hours) but still . . . I think its a great deal. Each child would have their own bed and you would have a separate bedroom, a small living room with a pull out couch and a fully equipped kitchenette, for this price I think its a steal! And from what I've heard and read at various websites the kiddie pool is very large and is tons of entertainment for the kids. If you would like to see this hotel go to www.hifamilysuites.com and you can judge for yourself. I'm in the habit of doing a lot of research before I choose a hotel and this hotel seemed to be the best bet for us this time since we will be traveling with a 4 yo and a 7yo. Good luck to you.

Check the Downtown Disney Hotels. Some those hotel sleeps 5 five people and you will still be onsite.

Check hotelkingdom.com for hotel rates

downtowndisneyhotels.com

My advise is to stay offsite if can't to afford stay onsite. Offsite hotels have plenty hotels that offer breakfeast incleuded in your hotel price for a suite hotel than staying in All-Star Resorts.

I agree with other posts that, (first of all) no they most likely would not know, and (secondly) stay off site. You really don't want to stay with three kids in that small of a room. Trust me, we are staying with two and I am worried about space. HIFS is often cheaper and a great value with all the free activities. There are also suites in the area for maybe $50 a night... Disney Steve, didn't you post some photos of a less expensive suite style room the other night?

I had 3 other hotels booked and I would never be able to sneak him in, it just crosses your mind yanno?!? lol. tHANKS!

You're really not supposed to have 5 people in a room, but hey if he's only 3 then he doesn't technically even count as a guest, because 3 is the cut off age for infants, like when you go to the parks and all they charge people 3 yrs of age and older. So at the Resort it'll be fine besides we would hate to split up a family over something so trivial as one more child! Anyways as for all the other posts, yes we actually do easily know how many people are in each room, it's hard to explain but trust me it's MAGIC, we know, and hey for the most part no harm no foul. For the most part. Anywho you are coming to have fun and we're here to make sure that you do, so come on down and leave all your worries behind. Hakuna Matata
