How grody do your clothes get?

we wear heavy stuff down, so coats, long sleeves and pants.
I pack half the days. so an 8 day trip would see 4 outfits in our bags.
I usually buy everyone a pack of new socks and new underwear for a min of 4 each.
we have never had blisters on our feet with this method

we own dvc so we actually do laundry every night before bed and dry it when we leave for the parks There are usually 5-6 of us so this is a wash load

unless its a short trip I would never take enough clothes for the whole time..too much lugging junk around
I agree fresh undies and socks are a must and fresh shirt is best..pants and shorts you can decide based on how they look and how hard their day was

Oh, and try those purex sheets before your trip. we arent allergy folks, but those sheets caused my son to break into hives :scared1:

In January, your clothes will not get sweaty like they would in warmer months, so yes, you could wear the same jeans two days in a row.

That said, we have done laundry on every trip we've made to Disney World. When we stayed in villas, it was so easy to throw a load in the washer in the a.m. and then throw it in the dryer in the afternoon. Last year, we stayed at AKL, so one afternoon, my daughter and I went swimming, while my husband tackled the laundry. Worked out fine.

Good luck! I am so jealous of you - January is such a great time to be at Disney World!

I go the end of November, early December and I have worn my jeans twice - but I only needed them in the evening. I have worn shorts or capris during the day.

I learned on a trip several years ago, I was packing way too many shirts. I would pack two per day; one for the daytime and one to go out at night. Since I stay for eight days, that was 15 shirts plus the one I wore down there. Geez.

I realized that I should wear the shirt at night first, while it is fresh - then wear it again during the day, when I don't care if I get it wet, spill on it, etc. It has cut down on a great deal of packing.

We will wear shorts/pants more than once no matter what time of year. I will not, however, wear the same shirt (unless its washed). We ususally go to the parks early and in the early afternoon head back to the hotel to rest or swim. We take showers and put on fresh underclothes and shirts and head back out in the evening. I almost always end up doing at least a few loads of laundry of usually underclothes, socks and shirts.
